Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CARRYCARE, the specialist distribution service for china and glass and other fragile items, is to offer a direct distribution service to Europe, from March 1.

The first European country to be served will be West Germany, where Carrycare's sister company Elbe will provide distribution to major stores.

Similar arrangements will be made in Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy, and be followed by Spain and France at a later date.

The link between Carrycare and the overseas distribution networks will be provided by sister company Unifast International, using scheduled weekly services from the UK to terminals throughout European countries.

Carrycare — part of the SPD Group — has developed a special export pack to enable the open tray packing system to be extended overseas in less than full container loads.

The export pack consists of a heavy-duty board pallet designed to hold either 12 or 20 standard pottery trays.

Consignments will be consolidated by Carrycare at Newcastleunder-Lyme for delivery to the appropriate Unifast groupage depot.
