Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DRIVERS' WEBSITE truckersmoan could be forced to close next year due to a lack of support from industry bosses.

Barrie Tozer, the driver behind the internet forum, says that although the website is aimed mostly at drivers, it cannot continue to operate without the assistance of management. "1 sent out 600 letters to different firms telling them who we are, what we are doing and asking for their support and advice." he says"But only two lirms had the courtesy to reply.

"A few months ago we set up a unique job vacancy page where transport managers can post their vacancies with an e-mail facility direct to drivers We only planned to charge a £50 annual fee for this to gain some much needed income.

"We sent out 400 letters to companies who had advertised that they needed more drivers and got no replies. I've spent over 13,000 setting up the site but can't afford to carry on without some support from the managers and directors" Truckersmoan was set up 18 months ago to provide a forum for drivers to voice their concerns. Its representatives then talked to transport managers about the problems highlighted by its subscribers, such as poor working conditions. A meeting earlier this year with Safeway about delays and poor conditions at its regional distribution centres resulted in immediate improvements to facilities for truck drivers, including rest rooms. an improved booking-in procedure and emergency overnight parking.
