THE WORKING PARTY created to address the chaos blighting Southampton Container Terminal (SC!') met terminal representatives last week to discuss the port's new booking system. The private meeting was described by working party chairman and RHA area manager Nick Dyer as "very constructive and positive".
The group discussed an ambitious plan to smooth out the frustrating peaks and troughs by allowing operators to send drivers to SCT twice a day, and utilising drivers' hours to the full.
