• Wiciescale law-breaking among market traders' vehicles has been revealed after a roadside check by the Vehicle Inspectorate. Of 34 vehicles used by market traders at Snetterton market, vehicle examiners issued six prohibitions. The main defects included brakes, steering and tyres.

Traffic examiners issued 13 prohibitions for overweight loads, three vehicles had no 0licence and one had no Ministry plate. During the check on 7 December, two illegal immigrants and some stolen goods were also found.
