SpEED LIMITS on several sections of the A13 in the London Boroughs of Newham, Barking, Dagenham and Havering have n amended to bring them to line with major radial routes of the same standard.
A draft Order has been published by the Department of Transport showing that two sections of the A13, west of Prince Regents Lane to Spur Road and S xham Road to Merrielands C escent will have limits raised td 50mph.
The temporary speed limit of mph on the stretch between C nning Town flyover to Prince Regent Lane has been made permanent, giving the entire stretch of road in the two London Boroughs one speed limit, Nith the exception of flyovers Nhich will remain at 30mph.
Police should be able to conc., ntrate their resources on otorists who continue to break t e speed limits.
Objectors to the proposals should write to the DTp.
