A NEW CHEMICAL has beer added to the list of dangerour substances conveyed in roac tankers in the Health and Safet1 Commission's book Approved List.
The substance is the organic peroxide di-(2-ethyl hexyl: peroxydicarbonate and a notice of approval has been issued re. lating to the maximum permis. sable concentration of solutior to be conveyed and the maxi. mum temperature during con. veyance.
An Exemption Certificate (No 4) can be obtained until the Notice of Approval comes intc force in April 1983.
