Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AVON TYRES has entered into an agreement with Vikrant Tyres pf Mysore in Southern India.

Under the five-year agreement, approved by the Indian Government, Avon will assist Vikrant in the development and manufacture of radial and crossply tyres for light and heavy commercial vehicles, as well as for cars.

Areas of co-operation between the two companies will include research and development, production processes, cost and quality control as well as evaluation and testing.

There will be a regular interchange of technical staff between the companies with the Vikrant personnel spending periods at Avon's Melksham plant to study the production and technical facilities.

Vikrant was established eight years ago and is licensed by the Indian Government for a cape

city of 500,000 tyres per year at the Mysore plant.

It has now been authorised to double this output under an expansion licence.
