Berresford 'cut'
THE WEST MIDLANDS Traffic Commissioners have not reduced Berresfords Motors' operator's licence by six vehicles (CM. December 11), but the age limit imposed on the fleet means that six of the existing vehicles have been deleted from the licence. There is no obstacle to Berresfords buying six more modern vehicles to take their place.
THE SCOTTISH Bus Group completed its conversion to complate one-man operation earlier this month, when the last seven, at Eastern Scottish's Linlithgow depot, were made redundant. The last two put in their final shifts on the company's Edinburgh-Stirling service.
