£10,000-worth of diesel fuel from his employer, Quantock Transport, when he appeared at Knutsford Crown Court in August, is now planning to plead not guilty.
Stoke-on-Trent driver Norman Coventry, of Victoria Road, Hanley, now denies six counts of theft and two counts of falsifying tachograph charts. The case has been adjourned until 17 October for trial.
