Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Strong sales of the sixwheel Peugeot Talbot Express velfare and minibus conver;ions have led to a shortage of he Spacevan parcels van. Peugeot Talbot claims that large local authority orders for the six-wheel Freeway welfare bus, launced last year, have also tied up production facilities at the Stoke factory. Stoke produces around four vehicles a week now, but an increase in production to around nine vehicles a week is expected in 1989 to free extra production capacity for the Spacevan.

Peugeot is also looking at its oldest production commercials, the 504 pickup and the 305 van. Both vehicles are facing strong competition; the pickup from the Ford P100 pickup, and the 305 van from Fiat's new Citivan. Peugeot is expected to keep both vehicles on the market for at least a year, and facelifts are planned next year.
