• ERF and Seddon Atkinson have extended their truck warranty schemes.
Seddon Atkinson's scheme, which is available on all of its new trucks from 1 September, offers up to four years' mechanical breakdown insurance. Called Truckshield Assurance, the scheme will be managed by Car Care Plan.
The full price list for Seddon's Truckshield Assurance is listed below. ERF has introduced second and third-year cover on its full range of commercial vehicles. Known as Superdrive, the policy covers parts and labour in the event of engine, cooling system, transmission, propshaft, rear axle or clutch failure. Superdrive Plus can also contribute towards replacement vehicles in the first year of the manufacturer's warranty. These policies are also underwritten by Car Care Plan.
