Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Renault Truck Industries has expanded its Midliner middleweight truck range with two new models. The 7.5and 13tonne Midliners have now been joined by 12.5and 12-tonne models.

According to RTI, the 12.5tonne GVW Midliner S13.150A chassis has been introduced to "compete in this expanding segment of the market". Its 4.5-tonne front axle and 9.2tonne plated drive axle provide a 1,200kg loading latitude, which RT1 claims will significantly reduce the risks of axle overloading. The lower-rated (12-tonneGVW) Midliner 512.150 has been specifically designed to fall within the 7.5-I2.0-tonne Vehicle Excise Duty bracket of £290 a year — a saving of £120 over a normal 13-tonner, which attracts an annual VED rate of E410.

Both of the new Midliners are powered by the current 113kW (154hp) 5.49-litre turbocharged Renault engine coupled to a five-speed gearbox. They are also fitted with 285/ 70R 19.5 low-profile tyres and have Renault's own front disc brake system.
