The drivers say the blue outfit with a blouson, matching trousers, sweaters and shirts, was issued to 3,000 drivers at a cost of 2270,000, but they are describing the ensemble as "effeminate".
West Midlands Travel says: "We have now introduced a new grey uniform. Several drivers did not like the previous uniform, but it certainly did not have flared trousers."
