THE VALUE of study courses for the Certificate of Professional Competence examinations has been underlined by the latest results from Freight Transport Association-trained students.
Against a national average pass rate of 53 per cent, all 72 students who attended the FTA's residential training course passed the exam in June. Of the 200 entrants who took advantage of other FTA training programmes, 161 passed the June exam.
In the first six months of this year, over 4,000 delegates have attended the ETA's training courses and seminars, 300 of them at a range of residential courses at its Wadhurst, East Sussex, training centre.
Over 2,000 delegates have attended seminars to explain the environmental operator licensing changes.
