A LORRY drivers' motel is planned close to Liverpool North Docks.
The development is being carried out by Haden Investments, which has taken over a former storage depot operated by Mainland Car Deliveries at Derby Road, Bootle.
The intention is to convert the premises into a 32-bedroom motel and public house, the first such project in the Liverpool area.
The property is held on lease from the Mersey Docks and Harbour Company at a current rental of £10,000 per annum.
