I AM WRITING in regard to an article in Technical News (CM, August 4).
In the article on Synethic saving, AMS/Oil makes reference to Ryder using synthetic lubricants. This is in fact true. However, we have never used the AMS/Oil product.
The product used by Ryder is made up especially for our company by Emery branded lubricants in Cincinnati, Ohio, who I can assure you are unconnected with AMS/Oil. PETER HARTE Director of Maintenance Ryder Truck Rental London W5
