I was reminded of this whe reading your item (page 20, C July 7) on the Armstrong Gal London service which is said be the first PTE inter-city expi service.
Could it be that someone h overlooked the ManchesterParis service which was part the Godfrey Abbott Group operations acquired by Grea Manchester Transport in 197 DAVID VERITY Managing Director Charterplan Stockport Cheshire
