Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

GOLF BALLS do some curious things. One driven by Les King, a Wymondham furniture remover, holed in one on a 2ft pike in a river near Barnham Broom golf course instead of landing on the 17th green. It was the first time Les had ever delivered to the wrong address.

A ball hit towards the 16th green at Coombe Wood Golf Club went down the vertical exhaust pipe of a tractor mowing the fairway.

"When sufficient compression had built up in the exhaust system," said Peter Crane, the secretary, "the ball was forced out with tremendous velocity, hitting the roof of a house nearby. It bounced off the roof and landed some 3ft from the pin on the green."

There must be a word for a shot like that.
