BRITAIN's speedway champion, Chris Morton, is burning up the cinders this year under the patronage of Iveco and Harper Trucks of Manchester. They could hardly have pinned their faith to a more illustrious name in the sport, for Chris is a triple captain of the English international team, the British home side and Manchester's Belle Vue squad.
His transport needs are met by a Daily 35.9 van which, with its 80.5bhp 2-litre petrol engine, is sure to get him to the track on time.
I wonder whether lveco could do something for Gary Evans by sponsoring him in Formula 3 car racing. Co-sponsors are Exclusive Cleaning, taking a welcome break from handling rubbish, and Diversey.
