Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

COACH DRIVER Robert Barr of Wester Hailes, Edinburgh, had driven for Browning of Whitburn since 1976 but was dismissed on March 17 because he "had too many mishaps over the past year."

He claimed unfair dismissal but the firm listed 18 mishaps on his record including seven in the last year.

In one case, contract service employees had refused to be driven by him. They had five other drivers, none of whom had records.

The applicant admitted that he was "accident prone," but the Industrial Tribunal sitting in Edinburgh ruled that dismissal was not unfair.

His employer had come to believe that he was no longer a capable driver and it could be entitled to reach that conclusion. The case was dismissed.
