THE DISTRIBUTION company owned jointly by Whitbread and BRS Southern, Bar Delivery Services, has appointed Derek Hobbs as distribution manager of its Kentish Town depot. The recently opened distribution centre controls weekly deliveries of Whitbread beers to 2,000 retail outlets in Greater London.
Mr Hobbs joined BDS from the food division of Express Dairy (UK), where he controlled distribution throughout southern England.
