Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ONE of the greatest factors contributing to the thorough enjoyment of a coach tour, particularly if thisbe one of long duration, is a welleducated and thoroughly well-versed conductor who is in a position to afford information regarding not only the places passed en route, but concerning everything of interest in or near them. In fact, there is an opening for a school for coach conductors.

Cheap witticisms are certainly not required, although they may appeal to a few of the passengers. Parrot-like matter, obviously obtained from local, guide-books, is likewise not appreciated, and the conductor employing such a means for entertaining his passengers is completely at a loss if asked pertinent questions regarding something of particular interest which does not happen to have been included in the guide-book from which his information Is derived.

We suggest that coaching companies who arrange lengthytours should exercise the utmost care in the choice of their conductors. They should be capable of attending to the general comfort of the passengers, and make certain that they are well treated and given every consideration in the hotels en route. Such attention will do much to popularize touring by coach.
