indicated the CV rental and leasing sector is cautiously optimistic about market prospects for the year ahead, with 59% of the surveyed firms expecting business to improve.
The news came as part of last week's launch of CV Informer, an initiative from Road Transport Media, the owner of CM, and the BVRLA. The project offers the first in-depth research analysis of the CV rental and leasing sector — understanding the size of the sector, the key players and suppliers, as well as testing the confidence of the market for the year ahead.
CV Informer, sponsored by Daf Trucks, Fiat, Texaco Lubricants, Dunlop and RouteMonkey, interviewed nearly 200 rental and leasing firms, almost 65% of the sector's active players. The report will be available in May, with a supplement covering the key findings set to run in Motor Transport in June.
