• Kidderminster steel haulier John Phillips has opted for one of Don-Bur's latest canopied trailers to run with his stylish new 500hp Scania Centurion tractor.
The weight of the trailer's re-engineered Coverhaul sliding covers has been trimmed by 200kg; revised bulkhead profiles allow the canopy to open and fold over the front or rear. This leaves 85% of the 13.6m flat floor clear for overhead loading on Phillips' contract with local supplier Armstrong Steel.
As specified by Phillips with side fairings. polished alumini urn wheels, front lifter and rear steer the Don-Bur trailer weighs just 6,100kg, allowing payloads up to 23.5 tonnes.
