• Warehouse specialist P;nnocle Storage, part of Transport Development Group, has secured a three year, contract extension with Boots Contract Manufacturing. The contract will be serviced by a new dedicated warehouse in West Hallam, Derbys.
• TNT Logistics has won a contract extension until the year 2000 with Shell Oils UK For the distribution of packed lubricants. The original fiveyear contract was due for renewal in February 1997.
• West Sussex-based Commercial Vehicle Management has won a £1.1m deal to provide contract hire, fleet management and accident management services to Spalding-based chilled food producer Smedley's Foods.
• Hammond Transport Group has signed a five-year contract to handle overnight deliveries of vehicle parts to all Toyota UK's dealerships, Hammond will also cover deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Wight.
• Dutch intermodal operator Geest North Sea [inc has beaten nine major competitors to win a distribution contract with US toy manufacturer Tyco-Matchbox.
