Roger Macey has filled the two-year post of chairman at the British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association. He is chairman of the FMM Group, a fleet management and contract-hire firm he set up in 1978 and sold to Commercial Union in 1988.
He succeeds Max McHardy who has become vice-chairman and is a vehicle rental and franchise consultant.
Stan Thompson, a director of Jessups (Vehicle Contracts), has stepped down as vice-chairman to become assistant honorary treasurer.
