PULLING POWER ▪ Ryders International of Liverpool has introduced a capstan winch which is powered by a 50cc two-stroke petrol motor.
Called the Simpson Capstan, it weighs 7kg and has a maximum line pull of 907kg. It costs £425 (ex-VAT).
