Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The current recession is opening up buying opportunities, says Transport Development Group chairman Sir James Duncan.

TDG has just completed the acquisition of French operator Societe d'Exploitation des Transports Pavoin (70 trucks and 54 trailers) and Sir James says that TDG has plenty of money left in the bank.

"Our cashflow is good and we are in a position to take advantage," he says. "But whereas 10 years ago we would have adopted a scattergun approach and bought pretty much anything on wheels, we are now much more focused."

Sir James predicts tough times in transport for at least several more months but believes the worst is over.
