Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Nexday managing director Geoffrey Rowett says the company's franchise programme is moving fast, with 75% of its total revenue now coming from franchise holders.

"The franchise programme is going very well. Last year we appointed 28 franchisees: another started last month. One will start in a couple of weeks and two more are set up for next month," says Rowett.

"The revenue from the franchise holders is growing month on month, so although we had no growth last year, turnover will be up this year," he adds. "We have changed the whole structure of Nexday, from company-owned depots and vehicles to a franchise system," he says.

"You can never achieve 100% of turnover through franchisees because some rural areas are not viable. However, we are going for around 90%."

Rowett believes that the shake-up in the next-day delivery sector is not over.
