• A new haulage operation, Return Loads of Felixstowe, plans to provide backloads for lorries coming into Felixstowe.
The company has been launched by shipping agent Pat Gardiner and will be managed by David Lygo, formerly of Canadian Pacific subsidiary Tracto. Lygo has 27 years' experience in road haulage.
Eventually the company will have its own vehicles, says Lygo.
Car contract Mi Motor giant Vauxhall is currently reviewing its parts distribution contract with NFC as the contract period is coming to an end.
