TAGS FROM SECURICOR • Securicor has launched "Trace-IT", a new fixed data security system, designed specifically to record the location and movement of equipment. "Trace-IT" works by tagging items of equipment, such as vehicles or container loads, with a small plastic "data strip" previously programmed with an individual code. These data strips are virtually impossible to counterfeit or alter, are resistant to dirt, grease, ice, water, other damage or removal froni equipment, and can be "read" by a special torch.
