A pto-pump combination, the Chelsea 28TNA6, has been announced by Earby Engineering. The unit has been designed to fit on the nearside of the Ford 6-600 and 8-570 gearboxes when mounted in the vertical position.
The main feature of the unit is the elimination of the adaptor on the left hand side of the gearbox, which reduces cost. Chelsea hydraulic gear pumps designed to fit the pito range from 27.3 litres to 63.6 litres per min (6 to 14 gal per min) with pressures up to 20,685kN/sqm(3,000psi).
