of a new range of water-cooled medium commercials. Three basic models— a panel van, a drop-side truck and a chassis-cab—are made.
Designated the LT, the new vehicles will be available in 25, 30 and 35cwt payload versions. The dropside and chassis cab are expected to go on sale in the UK towards the end of this year, with the panel van following early in 1976.
The new models have frontmounted, water-cooled twolitre petrol engines, made by Audi, driving the rear wheels.
A Perkins diesel-engined version will be available next year.
The LT panel van will have both twin rear doors and a sliding side door. The floor is completely flat and has a floor area of about 5.6sqm (60sqft). Internal volume is 7.6cum (272cuft).
The new range will not replace the existing one-ton, air-cooled commercials which will be continuing in production.
