Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THREE new tyres, two of them for on/off road operation, have been introduced by Michelin. The XZY has been developed to provide good on road performance but can also cope with hard site conditions. The tyre is suitable for speeds of up to 96km/h (60mph) and for fitting to front axles without adhesion problems or abnormal wear.

The XZY is available in size D20 at the moment, and will be followed by 10-22.5, 11-22.5 and 900-20. In due course this tyre will replace the existing XY and XB tyres and will then be available in all the current sizes covered by these tyres.

The XY1 Double is a widesingle designed for tippers and mixers which spend up to 95 per cent of their time on roads. Two sizes will be available during 1975—the 18-19.5 XY1 PR2OTL and 18-22.5 XY1 PR2OTL.

The third tyre developed by Michelin is the XCA light trunk radial for stop/start operations. The XCA is, claims Michelin, a considerable improvement on its predecessor the XC. The improved tread pattern is consistent throughout its depth and gives continued grip even when well worn.
