HANWORTH ACORN has ceased trading owing to cash difficulties, and some other London firms are consolidating for the coming season. Guards have trimmed their fleet from 22 to 16 and are now focusing their attention on European rather than American incoming tourists.
The departure of Hanworth Acorn's 25 vehicle fleet leaves another gap among the firms previously specialising in London Airport work. Tricentrol's Valiant Silverline subsidiary has now virtually left this field.
