non-executive directors Dr Stuart Timperley as company chairman. He succeeds Bryan Driver, who is retiring. Timperley is also director of the Centre for Management Development at the London Business School, working with management groups in client organisations.
Freightliner also has two new business performance managers, Peter Langridge, formerly European marketing manager, has responsibility for Freightliner's cross-channel service, operating daily between Felixstowe and Zebrugge. Warren Spencer, takes a similar role on its Ireland route. Based at Holyhead, he will monitor services to Northern Ireland and the Republic.
