WEST YORKSHIRE • Researchers at Huddersfield Polytechnic are launching a survey of transport and distribution firms in the West Yorkshire region.
The study will take the form of a short questionnaire sent to selected local companies. Researchers Colin Bamford and Erick Thomasson hope the study will form the basis for an independent directory of transport and distribution operators.
The idea originated in the Polytechnic's BSc (hons) course in Transport and Distribution, the only degree of its kind in the UK.
