IF has drawn attention to the ngers of mixing wheel-stud nes for Kirkstall Forge and ton axles.
Fitting a KF cone to an Eaton Ad prevents the correct loca.n of the inner wheel and in rn makes it difficult to keep the ieelnuts tight. The two types cone have different dimenms and should be easily idened.
Cold start
A revised cold-start actuating ble and bracket arrangement being fitted to new vehicles Ith Gardner 6LXCT and 8LXCT gines, and can be obtained as service replacement for older hides.
Presumably to make its operapn easier, the cable runs rough a guide plate fitted to e radiator support stay. A renor secures one end of the ble to a pivoted lever while the her end is attached to the cold art knob, mounted at an angle the cable run.
Clutches Since the introduction of cerac clutches on certain ERF odels, hydraulic servosistance has been maintained ly for the higher-powered odels. Clutches on other dels are operated directly by 3 slave cylinder.
