ONE OF CM's best-known staff members, engineering editor Graham Montgomerie, is leaving on December 1 to join the Freight Transport Association as its first publications manager.

Graham has been with CM for 10 years, first as technical editor and then engineering editor for the past four years. Before joining CM, he worked with Leyland Truck and Bus, latterly as senior research engineer responsible for engine development.

He is a native of Liverpool and graduated as a Bachelor of Technology in automotive engineering at Loughborough University in 1968, after attending a three-year sandwich course sponsored by Leyland.

azine, are at present part of ti responsibility of chief inform tion officer John Guttridge, wf moves towards the end of ti year to become its South-Ea regional controller.
