Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Economy drives by fuel companies are not new. At the CMLDoY final last week at Bra mcote there was one sponsored by DAF Trucks and Shell. My colleagues on those trendy motoring magazines are regularly swanning round the country on similar jamborees — the lead-swinging lucky devils! It seemed therefore something of a non event when Total Oil announced that they were now engaged on a temporary economy drive, but theirs is not a fuel saving scheme.

To help water man Howell — whose wife apparently washes her dishes with the old laundry water — Total are not washing their 6,500 gallon tank fleet That should make life more pleasant for D.H.

Total have anticipated the graffiti writers by sticking a notice on the rear of the tank. It will stop some dirty-eared kid from writing rude messages on the tank.

I passed a cooked meats delivery van on the Al 2 last week with a notice which read "My inside is cleaned every day, my outside is saving water," Sorry I didn't get his name, but after my story about driving last week he didn't seem to want to get too close.

If this habit spreads our Ed will get cross; you know what he's like about keeping a good image for the industry.
