FREIGHTLINERS have appointed a new marketing director. He is Jim Burnham who is 45, previously chief traffic manager.

He will head marketing for Freightliners Limited which has an annual sales turnover of £40m and is the world's leading road/rail container operator.
Mr. Burnham started his career with Freightliners in 1968 when he was appointed manager, north east area. Two years later he became manager of the south east area and in 1973 he was appointed • chief traffic manager.
FOUNDER member of the Institute of Traffic Administration's Inverness branch, Donald MacCuish, has been appointed vice-chairman of the Institute's national council.
Mr MacCuish, 38, head oi the Highlands and Island5 Development Board's transport department, has been a member of the national council for a number of years.
