Mr. A. Deni!.; Bulman has been appointed rnanaging director of Regent Oil Co. Ltd.. succeeding Mr. Charles. C. Dunn. Mr. Richard H. Turlington, formerly manager of the company's south-western branch, is now assistant general manager, sales, being replaced by Mr. Michael Slaughter, formerly superintendent. general retail sales in the south-east of England.
Florida Auto Bulbs Ltd. have appointed three women representatives. They arc Aliss Lee Watson, covering north-west London: Miss Susan Atkinson for north Somerset and north Wilts. and Miss Florence Rose for north and east Hampshire. Mr. Michael Abrahams will cover west London and the Middlesex areas. The company has opened a new office in Dawson Street. Oxford (Oxford 44554). The new manager. Mr. D. Steadman, is moving from Gosport to lakc over the area. He previously worked the west London and Middlesex areas.
Mr. C. Stewart, Mr. B. H. Smith and Mr. I:. McCulloch have received Goodyear gold long-service pins for 35, 30 and 25 sears respectively. Dr. Albert Fogg, a member of the hoards of the Leyland Motor Corporation and Leyland Motors Ltd., and chairman 01' Self-Changing Gears Ltd., has been appointed a director of Albion Motors Ltd., Glasgow. •Before joining the LMC board last year Dr. Fogg was Director of the Motor Industry Research Association at Lindley. He is 56.
Earlier this year Sir George Godfrey and Partners (Holdings) Ltd. formed a new company --Godfrey (International) Ltd.--under the chairmanship of Mr. R. W. Everatl. Mr. J. R. Leach and Mr. J. Logan were appointed joint assistant managing directors of the UK operating companies. Mr. Everall has now relinquished his duties as managing director of the operating companies, namely: Sir George Godfrey and Partners Ltd.-, Sir George Godfrey and Partners (Industrial) 1.1d. and Bourdon Tools Ltd., but will remain on the boards; Mr. Leach and Mr. Logan are now appointed joint managing directors of these companies.
Mr. John Carpenter, who was appointed an executive director of the Rover , Car Co. Ltd. in June, left Soiihull on Monday on the first stage of a 14-day, overseas fact-finding mission. He will cover more than 20,000 miles.
