TO-ORDINATION of Co-operative
transport is under survey in Scotland, where operation of area transport pools may become the pattern. Mr. Archibald Prentice, chairman of the Scottish Co-operative Transport Association, has told Renfrewshire co-operatives that amalgamations and pooling of resources are inevitable. He proposed a Scottish transport agency from which co-operatives might draw their transport needs, leasing vehicles instead of buying them.
