AJOINT deputation from the Public Transport Association and the Passenger Vehicle Operators' Association is expected to meet Mr. Boyd Carpenter, the new Minister of Transport, this month to present a case for expediting the denationalization of road passenger transport.
Mr. Boyd Carpenter will be the principal guest at the P.V.O.A. annual dinner on October 4, but it is unlikely that he will use the occasion to define his attitude towards State ownership of bus services.
