NEARLY all the new models at the Commercial Motor Show will be for goods carrying and will range from small delivery vans to huge 6 x 6 tractors.

On the passenger side there will be two new double-deckers, one of them of outstanding interest, but details of it will not be released until next Friday. There will also be a new range of heavy-duty single-decker chassis.

Chassisless, construction is a feature of several of the latest goods and passenger models, and a significant development in ambulance design has taken place.

Included in the new goods vehicles will be an Albion Claymore 4-tanner with underfloor engine, and a Chieftain six-wheeler.

An outstanding innovation is the E.R.F. six-wheeled tractor with Rolls-Royce oil engine. On the Mann Egerton stand will be a

chassisless lorry for a payload of 8+ tons, having an unladen weight of under 3 tons. Developed in conjunction with the British Aluminium Co., Ltd., it will have Dennis components.

In the Guy Big Otter will be found a new 71-tanner and Jensen show an oil-engined version of Ien-Tug, in which the new 2.2-litre unit is employed. Leyland Martian cross-country tor, Mack 7-tonner and Scam eight-wheeler with bogie-type s trailer, represent three further types. The last named has designed for a g.v.w. of 24 tons.

In addition there will be a nut of other interesting newcomers i: lighter class, details of which ca be released until next week.
