The two new vans are similar to the Morris-Commercial LDI and LD2 vehicles and are powered by a fourcylindered 2.2-litre petrol unit with a power output of 46 b.h.p. The 1-ton van has a capacity of 235 Cu. ft. and the 11-ton van has a capacity of 275 cu. ft., the additional space-being obtained by a higher roof line.

Boths vehicles have four-wheel hydraulic brakes, a four-speed constant mesh gearbox and fully damped suspension. Flush-fitting sliding doors are a feature of the bodywork and driving visibility is enhanced by the'deep windscreen. The complete 1-ton van costs £706 4s. 3d., including purchase . tax, and the li--ton version, £741 18s. Id. with tax. •
