Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WHILE BUYERS feverishly bought and traded shares in the Royal Mail on the London Stock Exchange last week, buyers of a different kind were snapping up ex-postal vans at auction.

Activity at Manheim's auction sites may have lacked the fanatical trading that saw 10 million shares traded in the first 30 seconds when conditional trading began, but the interest was no less fervent. At Gloucester, two buyers travelled more than 150 miles to fight it out with local buyers to secure vans such as the Vauxhall Combo, Ford Transit 260,

LDV Pilot, Convoy and Maxus.

Tim Spencer, Manheim regional CV manager, said that, due to historic de-fleet patterns, the market has been starved of Royal Mail vans.

"Royal Mail vehicles are always presented with excellent service history and full documentation. Buyers know that they are well specified and maintained," he said. "On top of that, they are realistically priced."

"Every auction section is well attended by buyers, and the competition for these vehicles is very strong," he added.
