Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

call for an end to sleeper cabs (CM 10-16 October), but does he really think that there is an alternative?

It's had enough that we have to pay exorbitant overnight parking charges at motorway service areas just to be able to take a legal rest.

I for one doubt that the companies running the service areas would be keen to see all that revenue go elsewhere.

But I can't see them making a dent in their profits to build a commercial drivers' hotel at each siteā€”and then charge the same price as they currently do for a sleeper cab.

I admit that I don't always get a good night's sleep in my cab. But as an ownerdriver trying to watch the cashflow I know what's good for my hank balance, never mind my back.

The reason drivers sleep in their cabs, Mr Morris, is purely down to money. R Campbell, Glasgow
