• Truck driver Anthony Moore, who was left paralysed after a crash with another lorry nine years ago, has been awarded nearly £5m compensation. Moore, of Winchcombe, Glos, sued the other truck driver Stephen Close of Barry, South Glam, and Close's employer at the time, GH Moreton of Cadoxton, Barry.
Close and the company denied liability.
