Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Largest is the one-tonne Slimline which is available in three widths: 2.5, 2.44 and 2.28m (98.2, 96 and 90in). There will also be two floor-height options, allowing an overall variance of up to 180mm (7in) in floor height.

The half-tonne model will be stocked in two widths: 2.28 and 2.13m (90 and 84in) and in two heights, while its platform depth is 900mm (36in).

Standard platform depths will be 1m (39.4in) for the one-tonne Slimline and 900mm (36m) for the half tonne. Deeper platforms will be available to special order, but these two sizes are expected to cater for most requirements.

Most lorry tail-lifts with platform-level beams have deeper vertical columns than van lifts because of the need to loop the lifting chains of cables over top rollers and bring them down again at the back of the column.

With the Slimline lift, the top rollers are mounted transversely instead of longitudinally and the chains return through box-section tubes inboard of the main columns.

To assist bodybuilders to mount them to the vehicle chassis, pre-assembled lifts will be ready for immediate fitting up to the body.

The hydraulic system will be ready charged, electrics prewired to the power pack and the platform attached and body builders will have only to weld the lift to the vehicle, transfer the power pack from its temporary position on the lift to the chassis and connect up to the vehicle's electrics.

Wheeled trolleys will be supplied with each lift.

The range which will be extended is covered by a twoyear parts guarantee.
